    Sue,

Maybe not necessarily a head start. . .but validation. If C#3 is about more tokens the Yahoo person could be trying to verify their solve of C#3 before they go running around the US. They think they have something BIG and are willing to pay for it?

On the other hand ~ There are times I have been convinced a particular twist, a baited fight or an over the top posting was allowed to continue just to make sure a companion book or screen play has enough material to draw from. I have the feeling this is a contrived twist. It comes from a forum completely unfamiliar to most of us, yet someone managed to find it and post it on ATT today. Remember, we all can be anything and anyone we want to be online. Who knows if the owner of a particular screen name is a real person or an alterego of MS or ATTadmin.

Never know. Can't wait to see what happens next.

    Default Rusful token

You're right, the Rusful token was listed as missing AND I saw a photo of the token and it has an image of Rusful on it. So clearly, they found the Rusful token. I don't know why everyone is so sure it was found in California. Just because someone had an early post that was immediately withdrawn? Not good enough. The Rusful token was in Devil's Tower Monument. Not only did the internet clues tell you this, but the book does too.

Since you seem to agree the token "was" found and that it was found at Devil's Tower, why cant you share your reasoning with us? I'm still convinced that it was in Yellowstone.

I have a solve for Rusful too and it's not in California and it's not Devil's Tower. All we can do now is just sit back and wait for te deadline to be up and see what happens from there.

Where I think the token is/was has already been searched. I had someone go look for me since they were very close to the state park and nothing was found. Not to say it isn't/wasn't there...just not found at the time it was searched for. I am anxious to see what happens after the deadline though

Can someone clarify the "found" status? It was my understanding that if you find a token, you have to give your solution in order for the token to be listed as "found". Is this correct or must you give the solution in order for it to be listed as "redeemed"?

Also, granlewis makes a good point regarding alter-egos on line.

    It's all so very dramatic.

hey Netsirk - I too beleive you may have a solve for another token! there have been places searched before and come up empty - by multiple people when it is indeed there
I hope one of the token finders ca clarify if the found does indeed mean the solve is submitted and accepted - or not
if not - then yes - maybe not a legit find -
time wil tell but the poster should know that giving away the solution without some guarantee isn't likely to happen - poster should know how many legit searchers have been aced and no are wary
and there is no path in that post to show any honest guarantee
bad use of that yahoo ? feature IMO -but yes - time will tell

    Default I figured it our

I have the answer to Rusful, but I am not going to post it. Why should I? I already saw the picture of the token, so no sense in trying to find it. I will give it up, but I want half.
