    Default possible clue

I just looked at the 2nd clue on ATT site. I noticed that the jewels were lined in a different order than the jewel page. In fact, the order of the jewels is different in the book too.

Clue page: bee, ant, caterpillar, dragonfly, firefly, grasshopper, hummingbird, ladybug, snail, spider, butterfly, rhinocerous beetle.

Jewel page: Ant, bee, butterfly, caterpillar, dragonfly, firefly
hummingbird, rhinocerous beetle, spider, ladybug, grasshopper, snail.

ATT Book index: Snail, ladybug, grasshopper, ant, hummingbird, dragonfly, beetle, butterfly, firefly, caterpillar, spider, bee

Also, I noticed that the descriptions of the creatures is different on the website as to those in the book.
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

The basic message is quite simple, as we solved it rather quickly. If we want to find more, taking the sensible plain text and anagramming it is not an effective way to do that. However, there is more information, whether meaningful or not, that we did not use. Namely, how the message was scrambled. There are nearly endless ways to scramble a rubics cube. So the question becomes: Did MS just randomly scramble it, or did he scramble it in a particular pattern in order to encode more information?

MS will probably wait at least a month to post the solution, as he did with the last clue.

What if MS made the solution we found, and another, harder to find solution as well, but will only give us the solution to the first. I don't think MS is that mean, but it's a possibility.

as much as I hate to say it, I hope you are right. The clue is junk. He told us that in the beginning. Sure, it was fun to solve, but at least with Hint: Tackle Repositories we got a solid 13th treasure. He's said a million times that there are no red herrings. He reinforces it so much that I begin to wonder... lol, sorry. But seriously, how does this help us? We know there are no red herrings, but there sure are useless clues.

    313 = 31/3 = 31st March? That's what I figured.

perchprism, if I'm not mistaken I think that creation date is a function of the OS software you are using...it will date a .jpg image with the date you are looking at it...

That was diiscovered by some folks previously on a forum I was on when working on The Search for the Third Urn.

If you check it again today....likely says April 2.

Default WHERE A CADASTRAL FALL STIRS

"AN EVEN CODE WITH ONE PIECE NARY WILL SPELL OUT THE SANCTUARY"
After not being able to ignore those long dashes WITHIN THE TEXT, that appeared to me to divide segments of a code,
I took a very simple approach at this by starting at the Forward (pg 10) and using only the even letters (hsartlkslciarafrsadelawe) ending that group with the first punctuation being (
I anagramed it and saw a wonderful word "cadastral" that I immediately looked up and it means relating to boundary.. so after anagraming the rest of the letters I believe the clue reads " WHERE A CADASTRAL FALL SKIRTS"( Q being missing from the entire text) or " "WHERE A CADASTRAL FALL STIRS" (assuming K from the p.o.w tap code, is the nary piece) this may refer to Niagra falls on the U.S and Canadian boundary or maybe this is just the result of pure insanity caused by this torturous puzzle!!!!
