Interesting numbers. It would be also nice to see how many of the 22 who have 75 in fact are stopped at 99 answers, just looking for 68.
I am one of the 8 females with more than 75 and one of the 5 between 40 and 49 (not my age, I am playing with a friend, using her information in case they decide that foreign nationals cannot play).

5000 books sold? Sounds like the treasure hunting book writing business is a good one to be in

    I'm surprised there's only 141 people registered!

I'm sure there are more registered. I know of at least one person who is registered but hasn't sent in *any* answers. These stats are only for the number of correct answers sent in.

I'd like to see more details, too. It's interesting to see how many people have 75 or more, and that *no one* has 100, but how many have 99? Better yet, how many people *know* where the treasure is (besides 'kook' here, and 'toby' on Q4T), without having all 100?

    Karifoot,
I just came across one of your breadcrumbs. You really should be more careful. Some who didn't know the hint, or hadn't thought of that thought process, surely will now! I hope you're not registered with this name.

    Default Ummmm....

    h4T:

With all due respect, your post borders on policing and a threat to karifoot.

More importantly, did it occur to you that you just drew much more attention to the 'breadcrumb' by posting here (I didn't know about it until now)?

I'm not threatening her... What can *I* do?
But, she's been in this long enough that she should know better than to *publicly* post a question regarding this hunt, on the Internet. Posting the words in a different order, shows she's not ignorant. If she's registered with that same email address, she *could* be disqualified. I hope, for her sake, that won't happen. Also, Des just raked 'kook' over the coals for doing the same thing, a week *before* she posted her question. I guess some people don't learn from others' mistakes, or are willing to take more risks than others... I don't know.

I didn't post anything breaking the rules. I'm just trying to prevent it from happening again! Anyone searching for the answer to #68 will see her post, whether I said it here, or not. I'm not so arrogant to believe I was the first to discover it, either. I just hope not to find anymore! This hunt can end at *any time*, for something like this, as is stated in the rules. Can the rules be considered a *threat*? I'm just trying to protect us *all* from a lot of grief, if I can bring it to everyone's attention (again) *not* to post questions, answers or *paid* hints! I *really* hope someone doesn't answer that post!

Even if TBTG 'powers that be' don't punish anyone for posting publicly (be it the poster and/or *everyone*), also consider this scenerio: Someone *does* answer that post *publicly*... Someone who has already solved the end game puzzle and *knows* the location, but is just waiting to find the answer to #68 to claim the prize, sees that reply. Also, no one in their right mind, will ever *admit* to having the end game solved, if they're trying to con the answer to #68 out of someone else. In either case, GAME OVER for the rest of us!

Anyone who thinks there will be more than one winner, should read Professor Tarr's words of wisdom on the Quest4Treasure forum, posted yesterday. Play this game like this is your *only* chance of winning, just in case. Don't give away #68, thinking you'll get 25 more clues to try for the win *next* time, because there may not be a next time!

I'm not trying to cause anyone trouble... unless you're a scammer! Everyone has the same chance of winning this game, if they:
    1. *adhere to the rules*
    2. find the answer to #68 and hold it *close to your heart*
    3. solve the end game
There is absolutely no way to win unless you do these 3 things!

Anyone who doesn't agree with me does *not* have everyone's best interest at heart! I'd really like to see the best *solver* win this thing... And not because someone was careless enough to make the answer to #68 available to someone who didn't *work* for it themself! That's all!
