does anyone think that we'd see some concern or a post from Gus on his site if the case was the treasure had been compromised? so, not concern may equal...somewhere else or they are confident it is still there. I'm just say'n.

    Default Don't trust the music

I don't like DE from the music on the piano. As someone pointed out, Plumpjack is a nickname for Falstaff in Shakespeare's Henry IV.

    Falstaff --> False staff

As others have mentioned, the 4-line staff does not give confidence.

And Siegfried thought that the music he heard was Montecore, but then realized that that was impossible, just as we may be realizing that the under-construction rest area is impossible.

Default Other objects in wood-chip room

Besides the 5, the ball and two cigar thingies that I guess are supposed to be cardboard tubes, and the dishes and short bottom section of tunnel next to them seem to be something.

The two tubes don't really look like a good number or letter except maybe Y, but OY does not seem helpful.

The dishes and tunnel section could be 100 or 001.

The several water bottles have strawberry, carrot, bunch of grapes, and banana labels.

What is the rolled-up thing on the wall? It doesn't look like there is a window there. It doesn't look much like a projection screen. Maybe two maps on separate rollers, but that doesn't help much. It looks like it has a power cord or pull cord.

Things I've seen and mentioned to others but will post for now.

There seems to be letters on the stairs. Top letter may be a W and the bottom one is not clear. Want it to be VA. Someone can look closer.

Seems to always be letters in pillows, sheets, rugs etc. on all these floors.

Still want to know who the artist put on the milk carton.

Just a few things I remember off the top of my head.

    Default Looking for numbers

In looking for numbers that can be used for
    this floor:
The thermometer number may be I-94 or I-95
since there is no distinct degree marking.

62 (26) grouping of two different-sized stair steps
61 (16) red lights in two rooms
141 grouping of kitchen cabinets doors (could also be 51 or 15)
    28 number of piano keys

    Just looking...

    Default Braille in kitchen

If the carrot slices by the sink are Braille, they are either

    <Number Follows> 8

    or period, P

Possibly the registration is off a bit, so the first could be D instead. But none of these interpretations really jump out at me.

Here is a blog report from someone who attempted to search the closed Delaware location at mile 5.

    Default Something new?

Well, after reading through everyone's posts I think I will be mainly reiterating, but I will say what is on my mind in case it helps jog someone's mind.

First of all, I feel like the thermometer (95 or so) has to be relevant because hamsters are usually best around 75 F making 95 pretty excessive. If it were in Celcius it would be even hotter. I feel that the 5 is important because of how much it stands out. Finally, The fruits over the water bottles remind me of a slot machine, except the carrot stands out. Lots of carrots around--6 that I counted. Could carrot be carat?

Although I agree that Delaware is the most likely solve, it doesn't seem like it is really there. Knowing that, the possibilities where rest stops are located I found were:

    NH I-95 mile .5 (I like hamster/Hampshire, but not .5)

    NJ I-95 (turnpike) mile 5

NC I-95 mile 5. (I like this one because of the NC in the tubes that someone pointed out earlier)

    Default eye

It seems that each floor has one or more images an eye.
The only eye-image on the 4th floor that I can see is the
    doorknob of the bathroom.

    Helpful?

    Default Look in PA?

In PA on I-95 at exit 51 there is a
    rest area/welcome center.
Here are the clues from the 4th floor:

*There is 2 of everything on this floor and
Pennsylvania is the 2nd state to enter the union

*It uses the "95" from the thermometer for I-95.

*The kitchen cabinets are grouped as 5 and 1 for "51"

*The DE "notes" on the sheet music stand for the Delaware Expressway

Does someone want to go look for me?
(Wisconsin is a bit far to travel.)
    AP

(I know that actual numbers for the mile markers are the rule,
but the rule was broken for the 10th floor...stool, snake, spider)
