In light of the recent finds, I'd definitely put my money on it being at the truck stop at mile marker 45 on I-76 in Ohio.

Yes. Many others think so too. Been there twice. Yesterday's visit was with the knowledge of what I should be looking for. Saw others hunting there as well. Hopefully a find will post soon.

We were there yesterday afternoon for a second visit, and failed to find anything. Our Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix failed to help identify any good dig sites. The grounds crew at this site is extremely meticulous, and may have unwittingly thwarted our efforts.

I agree. Both sides of this site are fairly large properties and one side is partially like a wetland. I have the ruined shoes to prove that.

After looking at every single tree on both sides the one thing I am thankful for - I didn't step in any doggie doo!

My friend is five minutes away from the rest stop....since the cat is out of the bag on the presumed location...anyone have any ideas on what to do if the symbol was moved by the grounds crew?

All I can say about that is - I spoke to the grounds crew.

    That's awfully cryptic....
Are we all assuming that whomever finds/found this will also be posting the news? What if it was already found and the main webpage just hasn't announced it yet?

i was there, this morn, i could see where others walked, looked, and 2 probed sites
i spoke to the guy/s in charge of the ground crews for both sides, and the state repair
crew, they are very familiar with geocaching, for what thats worth

i saw a woodpecker, on a tree, and a few squirrel, im wondering how tight the marker
is attached to the tree, and if it is brite enough to attract critters

Is it possible that the mile marker could be 54? (45 backwards) I have no idea if there is a rest stop near there.
