I'm really better with English.

Darn, I thought I had gotten that particular writer's style down so nicely . . .
In my back emails, I have one of the original old copies that can be compared to the new game.
Where’s my pencil? No! The one with the eraser ...
I thought you were going for Ferris Bueller.
Hmm... I haven't thought about this hunt for a while. I had to chuckle when Calvin called it a scam.
I remember something about an old copy being sent out, and then they changed something right away.

Bytes and Peaces,
I've read the following sentence a couple of times and I'm not certain I'm interpreting it right:
"Then how nice for all of us that I have a back email copy of the possibly original work that cannot possibly be in any way connected to a expired contest by someone who has obviously gone elsewhere rather than sitting back and polishing their techniques to an admirably higher level."
Obviously it's tongue in cheek, and I think you're trying to mock the people who doubted the early skepticism. Or maybe the two books are in fact very different and you're mocking my accusation. Either way is fine, but I'm curious to know what you meant.
Anyways, I'd lalso like to compare the two books to see if my accusations have any basis...on the surface they sure look like they're the product of the same author. I don't plan on buying the book, so any insights from anyone who has seen them both would be much appreciated.
David
I received one of the online versions. Printed it off. It's in some junk pile right now. And I'm not taking the time to find it in my documents. It's not worth it.

There are three kinds of people : Those who can count and those that can't.
I have both versions, if anybody is interested I can email them, but I sure am not going to spend any time going through the two files to see what the differences are.
For a cheap, easy way to to tell the difference between versions, I would suggest printing out both copies on thin paper, then simply holding them up against strong light. Anywhere where either the type, picture, or wording is different should show up in the first few pages.
This is especially useful for those annoying PDF files that people don't want you do do a word-search or type-face position search on. So, for example, if some slips in a zero (0) instead of a capital letter 'O' for a new edition, you can catch it quickly -- even if it is on page 136 and your eyes are tired.
Whether such differences are important or not is another matter entirely . . .

This one ended in November of 2008, didn't it? All of the websites associated with it have been taken down. All I see is the ISP website build page. Was there a winner? I just bought the book on Amazon and was unaware that it ended.
The rules in the book stated the end date of Novemeber 2008 unless it was extended. Was it extended?
