Default Happy New Year Army of Zero!

Right lets get back to it after a christmas break - there are only a few months left!

Steve has generously made this a clue a day week!

Here are the first two:

Code:
Monday's Army Of Zero clue... the numbers 0, 3, 6 and 9 are important.
Tuesday's clue is an illustration of 4 mean and a woman looking at a globe. My first thoughts are that perhaps the locations so far can be put together to make a geometric shape and this will point to a missing location. I'll test that out - not sure how? i have a mini globe somewhere...
also the name of the picture is 56777823.jpg which is suggestive of something...can't think what

does anyone know the name of the picture and the artist?
i'll post this to a general query thread on tweleve too.

Code:
Wednesday's Army Of Zero clue... If you can lead a lizard, you can iron an armadillo.
This looks like a clue to stuff that has already been solved - the periodic table elements ordering. puFEdda is an armadillo, fiPBlow is a lizard.

Maybe the other clues are old ones too - so the illustration just references the global longitude/latitude triples.

The 0,3,6,9 could be about the notches - the way they are grouped (however other numbers are possible). Where else could 0,3,6,9 be used - on a clock face?

triples again???

looking forward to the rest of the week: hope there's a clue for the coloured shields

It seems logical that connecting the points would make something, that's what I came up with too. No idea where it came from, though.

I tried Googling 56777823, just to see if anything would come up. I doubt this could be helpful, but at this point I won't rule anything out. That is the product ID for something at Cafe press, which I would have thought to ignore, but the colors on it are on the cards, and the letters on it say MSY. The link: NOLA - MSY TriColor Mousepad - CafePress Probably nothing, but it can't hurt to try. I googled MSY, and it is the airport code for New Orleans International Airport. Maybe I'm just trying too hard, but then again, maybe not.

if you split the number into 4 parts these could be cards:

56
77
78
23

the clans of these spell out the word BECK

not sure where to take that - can't see other links

Hi folks

Just to save you some time ...

"56777823.jpg" is the filename assigned to the image by twitpic.com, which is the service I used to put the image into our Twitter feed. The name of the file has nothing to do with me, and is totally insignificant.

Thanks Steve,

Thursday's Army Of Zero clue... everyone needs a friend to carry their shield.

Carry, something to do with long division?
Or again mirroring the triple shield clue, a shield on top of a shield, somehow.

You are overthinking. You've already done the heavy lifting for this, you need to consider a soldier and his friend.

My god, this stupid puzzle is driving me insane. And I live in the US, so I can't even enter the contest!

The picture suggests to me the European countries Britain, France, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, all of which explored the "globe".
