Your style is very charismatic and not as scary as Stadther's.... I'd buy your book over his any day.

I like the depth and the saturated colors the best. They come out even though it's a photo and not a scan. Very good stuff.

Great job! I agree with destructo that your pic is much less scary than MS's book. I hestitated letting my daughter get it because the pictures are kinda freaky. Especially the one of the baby in the border holding the dager. What kinda message is this sending? Anyway, great work!

very good work...keep it up...after I read your "hidden message" I actually found myself thinking "grid-like" thoughts - you rock, keep it up...

perhaps you can illustrate for tweleve's solution book and beat ms to the punch with your softer interpretation of his initial imagery...

    That is the best!

    Is that in watercolour also?

A really cute question....Did that take you 300+ hours?

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. And to answer your question tree painter, no it did not take me 300 hours to paint this!
I will tell you how this painting evolved....I answered the want ad that was posted on the official ATT site for an artist. I sent Mr. Stadther many samples of my art work via e-mail as per the ad request. I work in pencil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor as well as some photography. I like to try many different styles, and what I sent to Mr. Stadther was a sampling of these different mediums and styles. I wanted to show my diversity. Any way, he did answer my e-mail, saying that he liked my work, but it did not match his style. So one evening, I sat down with my watercolors and painted this in about three hours (not three-hundred!). I liked the idea of Pook being from a chrysalis, so I decided to make it the center of attention, as well as Pook taking flight. I e-mailed this to Mr. Stadther too, but I have not heard anything since. I am sure that I could match his style perfectly given more time. (Maybe ten hours at the most!!! ) In addition, I have many other works that I would love to post, but I have no idea how to do it. I had to ask Destructo for help, and he posted this picture for me. Thanks!

    Default Cool

What an interesting story to match an interesting style...ms's loss is tweleve's gain, you are very talented and I love your mediums...

(i minored in art history in school and I really liked the way you explained your artistic process - mine is very rapid as well...although is in the written form at the moment)

look forward to more work from you,
