    Default Iraq Vets?

Just wondering if there are any other OIF or OEF veterans on the site. I've been thinking of buying some extra copies of the book and sending them to some friends of mine that are still over there. I wish I could have had this book when i was there, it sure would have passed the time and got my mind off the war for a little while during down time!!

Hey, that's a great idea... I'm sure some people on here would be willing to buy a book and send it over. I would! My significant other was in the Navy for 6 years, and he would have plenty of names, as well. Topher, do you think all of this could be arranged? Or maybe people could just donate funds to you? I really, really like this idea.

That would be a great idea jen. The only snag would be that any mail sent has to be to a specific soldier and not to the old "Any Soldier" like in wars past. Its a new security thing because of terroism (anthrax to random soldiers i guess).

If anyone would like to donate there older copies i could supply you with some APO addresses and soldiers to send them to. Just PM me if you need an address.
The way we got around this thing while i was over there was when a church group or school wanted to send christmas cards or something they just sent it all to either my platoon seargent or CO and they distribute the stuff to the troops in their company or unit.

like i said, if anyone wants an address just let me know and i'll line it up.

    thanks,
    chris

Just wanted to, personally, say "Thank You".

I make sure I say thanks to every vet I meet (as every American should). You guys (and girls) don't hear it enough.
