    Default Needing distraction...please help

I am driving myself crazy right now. I had to put our puupy to sleep this morning and I can't seem to get past it. I need something to puzzle my brain so I can stop moping around the house and so I can be productive at work tonight. Any new thoughts on the beetle or pook? I really need something to get my mind off this. Thanks a bunch!!!

So sorry to hear that Rachel. Our parakeets were outside in their cage yesterday - my little nephew knocked the cage over, it tumbled down the stairs, the cage broke open and they both flew away!

Not quite as bad as your puppy, but I miss those little guys!

I'm so sorry to hear about your puppy. It will take some time before you feel better, but it will happen. I had to put my 12-year old cat, Roman, to sleep last November, and I still can get choked up at the strangest times.

Maybe instead of driving yourself crazy with those quackquackquackquackquackquackquackquack (I said f a b u l o u s ) blocks, you could look at something completely different for awhile. Here's a link to the thread on a new treasure hunt called "Menagerie".

It's a tribute to Kit Williams' Masquerade, and the 3 illustrations are very true to the original "feel"....great stuff! The prize is gorgeous as well. Plus, the author has stated that if you are not in the UK, but feel you have a correct answer, he will get someone locally to help you and film the "find" for you.

Once again, I'm sorry for your loss,

My condolences. I've lost several pets over the years and some are sure more difficult to "get over". Give yourself some time - and think of the happy times.
