    Default Songs/Music for Valentine's

    Hi -

I want to know what music you think I should put on a CD for Valentine's Day. Tell me why I should include your song if you're comfortable doing so. I'd appreciate it if you didn't link me to some unknown's internet list.

I really dig different styles of music, so don't limit yourself. My ideal CD would be made of many genres, over many years, with and without lyrics.

I'll sprinkle some twollars around as an incentive.

    Thanks for your thoughts and time;
    Carol

    Hey Carol!

To start can think of some oldies - have to look up the few instrumental that I think of right away - (Bourne Identity sound track for example).

Beach Boys - God Only Knows
Be My Baby - The Ronettes
I Never Loved a Man - Aretha Franklin
Let's Get It On - Marvin Gaye
You Make Loving Fun - Fleetwood Mac
also Over My Head may be good to by them
    Your Song - Elton John
    So Many Beatle Songs

That's it off the top of my head.

    Good Luck

Groovy Kind of Love - Phil Collins
I know its a remake, but I happen to like Phil (Genesis, too). I always turn this one up and listen if it comes on the radio when I'm driving. (happy sigh)

Have I Told You Lately? - Rod Stewart
The song from the Sluggy wedding. (Spidey knows the whole saga leading up to that event. )

I just gotta say - Cajun Waltz - man oh man, that's a great song.

now if I could just hear from some of the tweleve men? please? I would truly appreciate your submissions as well, especially the men of the Creative Corner -

    ROBERTA FLACK

First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and stars were the gifts you gave
To the dark and the empty skies, my love,
To the dark and the empty skies.

The first time ever I kissed your mouth
And felt your heart beat close to mine
Like the trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command, my love
That was there at my command.

And the first time ever I lay with you
I felt your heart so close to mine
And I knew our joy would fill the earth
And last till the end of time my love
It would last till the end of time my love

The first time ever I saw your face, your face,
    your face, your face

    Two of my favorites-

Love, Me- Collin Raye - One of my favorite songs of all time

Magic Works- Goblet of Fire Soundtrack - There are some marvelous songs on the last two HP soundtracks.
I caught you a delicious bass.
