    Mine started off pretty crummy
I got back from Phoenix (my parents house)December 30th and must have caught the H.A.D. (Holiday Airplane Disease)
I have the ickiest resiratory infection ever. Today is the 1st day I got out of the house since December 30th and it was to come back to work
I had to cancel my new years trip to my inlaws.(December 31st-January 2nd) Until today I have been in bed playing video games (I am now addicted to Call of Duty 4 on the PS3)

sorry to hear of your sicky new year, k.....only 358 days till the next New Year celebration!!

on a sidenote, I bought a new case for my new replacement I-pod today...it should hold up for fire, water, train and bus collisions and perhaps a nuclear explosion...just a bit un-portable though

Doesn't look like it will fit into the dog's bowl.

    UPDATE:

I am still sick as heck (only working half days then going home) BUT my New Year just got a bit happier! My sister is preggy just scheduled her c-section for Feb 21st. I AM GONNA BE AN AUNT ON FEB 21ST! I just bought my plane tickets and I can't even tell you how excited I am. Already started a 'niece fund' I bought a coin sorter and all spare change in my house goes in and I am saving up. I started it the day I found out my sister was preggy (mid-July) and I already have $200. Not sure what I am going to do with it and when, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to PM me.

FYI - this is post #4000 for me! (thanks for the reminder j)

    THE best idea mimi!!!

If you already have that covered net the next thing I would do is get my home set up for visits. It would be so nice if when sis visited she didn't need to bring her entire infant supply with her. Usually she would need to bring the carseat, stroller etc. But if you had a sleeper play pen thingy, supply of blankies, bibs, high chair and the rest it sure would give her a lighter load when she does visit. My cousins did that and boy were they glad they did.

I bet you can't wait for the blessed event!!!

Cats live for getting the dog in trouble.

    Amen, brother.

Nice '08 start here. Sunshine, good food, fishing, writing, more money.

Powerbook won't fit into Scotch tumblers, so all should be well.

good to hear paul...and cute on the scotch comment

in a leftover bit of 2007 disaster, my FAVO-rite cat, Phoebe, left this world 2 nights ago..

she of the cat wearing the grasshopper jewel on my avatar (as well as posing with the actual grasshopper token around her neck 2 years earlier)

devastating, simply devastating (which may account for my recent absences on tweleve as I tried to nurse her into better health, while ignoring the ravages of aging)

to all pet-lovers with losses, I share your pains today
