Almost 80 degrees today. I'd be wearing a t-shirt if I didn't have to perform tonight--shirt and tie day for me.

pffft. did a surfers slide to my car on the driveway today. NO. I wasn't trying for that!! It's amazing what a heavy woman will do so she won't fall. I think I can still hear my neighbor across the street laughing.

I'm kinda stuck in between as far as temperature. Put on the long coat -- to hot and bulky. Put on the bulky sweater -- too thin and full of natural holes called 'cable knit, extra large'. Get someone else to drive me up ice-slicked hills that are starting to thaw . . . well, just as well try walking it one way or another and put up with the neighbors laughing, so get out the long coat and prepare for impact/slide/embararessing phone-photos.
Where’s my pencil? No! The one with the eraser ...

what part of the world are you in rt?

gotta say it's kinda surreal out there right now. bumpy ice on the ground. tons of snow. and I don't need to wear a coat. guessing we will see a bit of flooding soon around here.

interesting week here on the "other" side of our state, jean

weather has been as expected...cold and gradually warmer for the weekend..no snow or ice storms for a change

I became a "statistic" yesterday as I was furloughed from my second (part-time) job at a local church...never saw it coming...BAM!

also, the network censors at NBC found me downloading a TV show from a P2P site and got rather nasty about removing it, as well as a tongue-lashing from my ISP

question: how does downloading an ep of Battlestar Galactica via BitTorrent differ from tivo, VHS, or my Media Center cable feed on my PC?

tomorrow we may take the little niece and nephew here for an hour or two of living dangerously...a huge toboggan slide...LOL

    Eagles Mere Toboggan Slide

    stay warm and safe

Sorry to read about your job, Pac. Though I hope that your life is full of 'ups', I will hope that your toboggan rides will be the only 'downs' you'll face for the rest of the year. (sounds like fun to me!)

PS: We're hitting 65-70 these days; daffodils are easing open everywhere. It's strikingly obvious how the change in temp has helped morale around the city.
