There haven't been many posts lately, I hope it is because everybody is busy solving a lot of things and don't have time to post their progress
Something that keeps getting my attention is the reference to the Revolutionary War. Robert Erskine was the Geographer and Surveyor General of the Continental Army, and drew maps covering the northern section of the war. Only one of the maps found in the puzzle is in that part of the country. Coincidence? probably, but something to keep in mind anyway.
Many of Erskine's maps can be found in the Erskine Dewitt Map Collection, which is located at the New York Historical Society. So that is where they are
And the Count thing keeps coming back. What haven't we counted?
