    I entered it the day they annouced it. Just a quick Publisher creation of a 12, nothing too fancy. Doubt anyone will ever see it.

    This is what I drew and sent in:


    It's not the best, but I think the overall idea is pretty nifty.

    This is outstanding! Very nice job. They may have to make a new 12 based on your design.

    If there hadn't already been a sunburst for the recovered 8, I would have predicted a setting sun in the design of the 12. That "Replaceable" post (June 17) mentioned an "ever-rising horizon of craft and form".

    But I love the viper design. Appropriate and well-executed.
