Default Puzzle(s) on website not used yet...

Interesting... Two of the puzzles I found on the website (only going there because I can't find the companion puzzle book...) have yet to really be utilized, as far as I know.

With one, you must drag a picture on top of another picture to see letters that spell something out. I know we have folded pages, looked at pages in reverse, etc... But at any point have we put one page on top of another? Or one part of a picture on top of another part to see something in combination? (The Pg77 border seems like a good spot to try.) It seems like this should have been used somehow. Maybe I'm just not aware...

The other has to do with optical illusions. It asks which square is darker on a chess board type item. Apparently the one that appears lighter is actually darker, or something of that nature. Have we used this type of illusion yet?

Sorry if these are old hat. I've scoured the boards and have yet to see anything that relates, but I may have missed something.

No, you haven't missed anything. A bunch of us have been looking for things to overlay as well.

The only luck I've had is to overlay the tools page on itself, proving that the tools along the bottom are the same outlines as the tools along the left border.

I'd love to find something to overlay on those dandelion seeds, but you'll notice that most of them are along the same tilt.

If you have any ideas on things to try to overlay... post it here and one of the many Photoshop experts will probably give it a try.

I overlay by scanning in the photos then using Photoshop- by changing the opacity of the layers, you can onion skin them on top of each other.

You can also scan images and then print them off on transparency sheets. My husband snagged some at work for me but I'm sure you can buy them at an office supply.

Of course, try overlaying the mushrooms on Pg. 12 and Pg 99.

Not sure what it means, if anything. Perhaps he was tired of painting 'shrooms and just went nuts with Photoshop.

The transparency idea is a great one.

Photoshop is the way I work. I prefer setting the top layer to "multiply" versus making the opacitices less.... that way you get darker lines where the two layers differ and no marks where they are the same.

I've done an overlay of the tools if anyone is intersted.
