    Default CB Puzzle #71

CB Puzzle #71: How many squares can you count??

MS says "15" in the Answers section.
    He lists 8 "1 x 1" squares,
then he lists another 2 "1 x 1" squares (which I can't seem to find).

Also, he fails to mention 1 "3 x 3" square.

Therefore, by my count, there are 14 squares.

This one almost got me, too - I'm sure it's a typo and it should be (2) 3x3 squares.

    Default squares

Maybe this has to do on(e) piece nary. 15-14=1. There are a lot of "errors" found through out both books.
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

Don't forget the whole image is a 4 x 4 square, so there are 15 total...

DDPEPPER was correct in his/her observation that

    I'm sure it's a typo and it should be (2) 3x3 squares.
In my original message starting this thread, I had only noticed 1 "3 x 3" square, when in actuality there are 2 "3 x 3 " squares , as ddpepper noted.
I now see that there are indeed 15 squares. As far as I am concerned, this issue is now DEAD, and no further traffic is necessary.
