Anybody try making a copy of the compass, cutting it out, and putting it over the eclipse spells? The arrows on the compass seem to point at the letters in the spells. Just have to figure out how to read them and which way to turn the compass.

that's really cool. (the three circle thing)
dunno what it means. perhaps the arrows in the "red-hare rings" tell you which direction the compass goes? |

zbeeble42,
The maze page (open fairies dark/light fairies close) and the grow/mold page fit perfectly well together. By this I mean that you can align the moons and suns that are on the tops and bottoms of the pages. But with the death/life, the moon and sun are not in the same exact place. |

Another observation:
I noticed something else when you overlap these three pages...if you rotate the circles to align with the ink blots, the ink blots fall right in line, one right after the other. They even touch. But if you add the compass rose page to this, and align the ink blot, there is a gap between the compass rose ink blot and the ink blot on the open fairies dark/close fairies light page. I definitely think that these circles are intended to overlap. |

I suspected something like this when I read "let us out to get rings", just beside the maze circle torn out and pasted onto p 12 of the spell book. I thought it meant to cut out the maze, life/death, and mold/grow circles. However, I was reluctant to cut up my book!
Anyway what I am saying is that "let us out to get rings" may confirm what you are doing Okie |
