I am beginning to feel like I have a bunch of half-solves, and the only puzzles I have figured out are the general encouragements and herrings.

I am going to have to say it...yes, I have solved an unintended masterpiece...I'm sure even Domino had no idea the solution existed...but there's no money there...in my favorite, close to home, Oregon location. That's all I have to say about that. What was my first clue that I was wrong? Well, I haven't solved any of the serious looking cipher-clues. *cough*...still working at it.

So, I'm in the same boat as you stvwz...only drifting a few leagues behind.

I'll compile my wrong solution and post it to the 'begging for twollars' donation thread when the time is right. I'm sure you'll have a good laugh.

    Hi Lafitte!

Sounds like Kentucky. Do you agree? How did you get this? How much is it cowboy-like? I'm just trying to understand. Thanks.

I think the whole Cowboy theme is a red herring.

I was thinking along similar lines. "what does everything tell us if we don't let the cowboy theme cloud our thoughts?"

OK - now I am starting to wake up in the night thinking of this COWBOY hunt. There is a certain puzzle, which after sharpening the pencil, I am able to extract a two initial state from. It could be my imaginings from lack of sleep, but it fits with some of the other indicators I have gotten. The problem is that it feels like a forced solution, and now I am trying to reconstruct how I can make the translation (it all seemed so clear in the middle of the night!)zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I had a thought pop into my head. No jokes please. The italicised words cattle rustle'n abilities might pertain to the other chapters we are to use with this one. Such as Whip, Lasso, Branding Irons, and maybe Giddy- Up. These terms are all used when rustling cattle.

Okay... think I just solved the wordsearch... got a couple of tied together words - which lead me to a specific musician... but... does that then lead me to a new song? which might lead me where? hmmmm.... interesting... ergggghhhh.... I'm suspicious of myself not having been here for awhile...
