Thanks for the May hint. Is this still a hint for the symbols around the word search?

    Thanks

It is interesting that most of the brands do seem to represent at the very least a unique letter of the alphabet but not completely. K vs. Rocking K, two W thingies... so they are probably not strictly representative... plus that's not nearly layered enough. Which means we can pretty much insert random alphas and then solve it as any crypto... yet, there is precious little actual text therein... three pages of it... And I'm still trying to find a way to read that one page as a sizzle... yet it remains inscrutible therein... Hung up on Irvine, I suppose... and the real definition of some of the objects... trial and erroring around sizzle is a bit sketchy at times... Barb, or BArB? for example... too many variables therein and if you don't start with it registered at precisely the correct location, it is non-helpful. One character throws off your whole shebang...

Whats with a couple of the brands with a dark gray band through them? Also if you look close, it appears that these were laid out on a page, then cut and pasted into their present places, creating different sizes and a couple of hairs from perhaps another brand. Has anyone tried cutting these out and putting together like a picture puzzle?

Well you just set me off to cutting and pasting a copy tonight...

Yeah, maybe the non-graphical bar (the 3-D looking overlay) lines up... would that give us the top row? How many letters have the bar? That might at the least show us the construct of a grid...

The sigma looking brand and the pear look like they used to be next to one another by the dark line and shading on the bottom

Wow! Very cool... I bet they will ultimately be seen to FIT a certain way that makes sense from a grid perspective...

Those brands appear to be painted on a wall or door (a somewhat common occurrence). There is no guarantee that you have all of them, and even if you did, their order probably doesn't tell you anything unless Domino was lazy.

I too noticed those darker grey bands going through the the brands. Initially I thought that they appeared to be folds in a piece of paper---like the brands were cut out and folded at one time. That started me on a whole goose chase of putting a mirror up to where those lines appeared to see if anything remarkable emerged when added to its reflection. I only noticed one minor thing. On page 35, when you put a mirror up to the brands on the far right, the three that are in a column together that look like V-, rocking K, and DF, they appear in the mirror like the word "WHO". I never thought to try piecing them together like a puzzle to see if the darker bands lined up somehow. But I will add that to my list of probable useless things to try.
