    Default London charity shops hunt

2018 begins with a PlanetSlade treasure hunt for your New Year entertainment.

I’ve donated 30 special copies of my murder ballads book – each one signed and numbered – to 30 different charity shops round London. Find one of these rare editions, and you’ll have the chance to buy it at a bargain price, while also knowing your money goes to support the charity’s valuable work.

Click here to see the photo clues identifying every shop I used. Some are easy, some are hard and some are damn near impossible, but I’m confident you’ll be up to the challenge!

    We have our first winner.

Congratulations to Michael@Catch22, who found and bought a stickered copy of the book at Cancer Research in Highgate on December 3. "I was delighted," he says. "Best 3 quid I have ever spent. Book is number 19 out of 30. […] Gorgeous tiny skeleton/cowboy on the inside back cover below the yellow sticker - part of the book-print or added later?”

The little skeleton fiddler he mentions there is an image I rubber-stamped beneath each sticker as I added them to the 30 prize books. More details here.

Paul, why did you put your post on the Cowboy Thread. This thread is for a book/treasure hunt by Domino from many years ago. You should relocate your post to the New Hunts section to get more visibility
