    Default Another Language? Why Not?

Thinking maybe another language that makes sense out of some of our "non-words" and scrambled letters we keep finding.

    SEQUOYAH
    Sequoya, Sequoia, Sikwayi
    Inventor of the Cherokee Syllabary

Scroll down to see Cherokee (alphabet) and dictionary. Some interesting words there.
The only token I found was SQUAT!!!

Sure, "Pöök" means "Beech Tree" in Estonian so why not?

My two cents... doubtful he'd do that. First, he has stated that he doesn't speak any other languages and that anyone who could read (and the book is in American English for the most part... Ye Nomenclature section excepted) could figure out the clues.
Over 1,000 miles travelled in search of 1 token.

Tokens found: zero. (no, I don't expect I'll have to edit this)

    Currently working on: Firefly, beetle.

He says that no special knowledge is needed to decipher the clues. I doubt he would use another language since that would definitely fall into the "special knowledge" category.
