    Break
    4 D
    1 RightDown(106)

I put the page numbers next to the turned acorns. The Breaks are the pages with no acorns.
    Hopefully this will help.

I liked it better when it was at 72 total.....36 twice and all, or two 6x6 grids.

    Sigh.

    It ain't gonna be easy.

If you ignore the 61 down(being that they are most common)-- you are left with 12 acorns--that point in different directions. Don't know what to do with them. BUT we like the number TWELVEVE.

I think they are directional...like north, south, east and west.

If you add up all the page numbers for the rotated acorns you get 600. Thats a nice round number. So I wondered if there were two combinations of six acorns that yield a sum of 300 each. I looked at about 200 combo's before I found one.

    17 + 24 + 34 + 67 + 70 + 88 = 300
    21 + 28 + 42 + 46 + 57 + 106 = 300

    Any others?

This leads to different ways of pairing up the acorns.
It is time. Time is it.
