Draco? link to the stars? Alpha Draconis, Thuban, was the north star in the Egyptian's time. Thuban means 'snake". The Great Pyramid's shafts were thought to have pointed to Thuban to deliver the soul of the Pharoah.

I did a search on Sulfur Serpent. Check out this site on Serpents. You'll also find things relating to sulfur, salt, pentagram, etc. Quite interesting.
The first thing that has made me look at issues in the book where it asks specific questions, like when the ladybug asks, "Just how does he (Zac)thinks the world works, does he think it is by accident..."

If you really want a challenge, do a search on the Seven Sermons of the Serpent...
It could be the heraldic meaning for dragon which is defender of treasure.
Maybe not babbling...if anyone has read "The Neverending Story," there is a dragon/serpent/snake that is eating it's own tail on the cover of that book. SO maybe this is just another clue that the story is out of order, or that the end is really the beginning....Originally Posted by lycaon

I ask a professional Master Photographer/Artist recently if the picture was of a dragon and he said no, it was a serpent, which is symbolic of evil. Looking closer at the pictures, I believe it is a serpent, which would narrow the information concerning serpents. Just my thought.
Cabunk: you may be on to something yourself. I've been trying to arrange reality time vs dream time in this whole thing and the ending cetainly points us to a new beginning. Maybe Pook or Zac was dreaming the whole thing from the beginning.
