Default Vines And Leaves Puzzle/What The Fairies Point To

    Greetings,

Throughout the book there are fairies in a box pointing to the first letter of the chapters sentence.. I do not believe that they are actually pointing to the first letter of the sentence.. but are rather pointing to a vine which appears in each box with the fairies..

Crazy as it seems.. pages 20,22,25,52(?),55(?)59,66,69 and 88 all have the fairies in the first letter box pointing to a vine that is quite distinguishable from the rest of the pattern.

On each vine are a different number of green leaves(Cant verify this. one of them are in black and white..) The leaves consist of either one vein straight from the top to the bottom of the leaf or one line from top to bottom and 6 more veins extending from the one center vein outwards.

Another code? The problem i have had with this idea is that there are no certain indications of where to start/end, and what type of cipher it could be?

    Any suggestions?

    Hey Insane-

I drove myself nuts with those leaves a week or so ago. I traced them, overlayed them, traced the vines - nothing. I still think they are important.
It looks like the same type of leaf used for the token on page 110 to me.

I believe the dandelion seeds need to be traced and over laid on page 77. I think it will spell out something or map out something....

Don't forget that page 11 says "if you believe in Fairies, you may find the clues that will lead you to the treasures". Do you believe in fairies? I think not.

Good point, komondor, the treasures can only be found by someone who ACTUALLY believes in fairies. MS said so.

<sounds of twisting personal belief system into something more compatible with current goals>

Referring back to believing in faeries, maybe you just need to believe in what the faeries are pointing to komondor.

Didnt Kit Williams Masquerade use the faerie's eyes as a starting place and draw a line from there to the longest finger or toe on the faerie to show the way to a clue? Don't have my book handy to check it out...

    Default masquerade solution

I think the chances are slim that MS would use the exact same solution as Masquerade. It's been well publicized (including by HIM) that Masquerade inspired him to plan this quest over a number of years.
