Music connection?
I have not seen any connection to music as yet. The text reads that the fairies like to sing. If you hold the book at arms length and look at page 77 notice that the dragon and Ana together make a C clef. Also the squiggle in the acorn at the bottm of page 52 sure looks like a note to me. I wonder if placing a 5 line musical staff over some of the dot situations would produce a song. You know, like, "Streets of Lorado", "Georgia on my mind". Am I reaching or what?

Music
That is very clever, chloe. Now we need to find the notes and someone who knows how to read music. May seem out there, but we all think differently, and no one has found a token yet! Any analytical musicians out there to help?

There has already been some discussion about this. Do a search on music, and you should find some useful info.

Music
That is a G-clef/ or treble clef...the notes for the right hand when playing the piano...
----------F
E
----------D the lines are E G B D F and
C the spaces starting at the bottom are F,A,C,E
----------B
A
----------G
F
----------E
That note is a half note.....makes me wonder again about "it is not half and is not whole" ------- that would make it a quarter note...which looks like the half note only the body of the note is filled in black.

There is a ton of musical refrences in this book.
