Is anyone who is working on this book in the New England area?

Default RE: What About the Key?

I'm not trying to muddy the waters any, but I'm wondering if the shape of the key itself has any significance?

I seem to remember somewhere in my wanderings, of another website with no connection to Fandango which uses a key for their logo, and is shaped very much like what is shown in the book.

    Just an observation ...

The part of the key shape that interests me is the bow. The shape of the bow is circle within a circle. A circular bow with a circular hole in the middle.

This shape appears several times on the key page 11.

    It's not a place, it's a yearning. It's not a race, it's a journey.

    Hi rdshackleford,

... um, Rusty, right? Do you suppose these keys belong to an old house or mansion? Or are they skeleton keys?? Should we be looking for a burial site? I'll go back to the map. Gotten me curious, now. Thanks ! Finally, researching again.

    Your friend,
    Beth

Default Whoa... I've got some catching up to do!

I have not been on this site for ages and now I find a hunt in my own backyard!! Well... at least close (about 2 1/2 hours). I just ordered the book... now anxiously awaiting it. Guess I'll use that time to get caught up on the posts.

Yeah, I'm Rusty. So is my brain sometimes. da dum-dum.

Your guess is probably better than mine about those keys. A burial site would be very cool. I seem to remember a cemetery on the north side of the island when I was researching the Gris Gris Doll hunt.

What about MonKeys, Huskies, Junkies and, oh yes...DonKeys? A Donkey can be a serious Key to the Wind, if you know what I mean.

    Cheers
