Yeah, I'm Rusty. So is my brain sometimes. da dum-dum.

Your guess is probably better than mine about those keys. A burial site would be very cool. I seem to remember a cemetery on the north side of the island when I was researching the Gris Gris Doll hunt.

    Rusty,

Do you mean you actually saw a cemetery site? !! Perhaps it is a place to begin ... or end. I donno. I guess I'll have to buy a 7 or 15 minute topo map of the area. At least some details could show up that might tell us something.

I hadn't heard of a Gris Gris Doll hunt. The name sounds interesting. Was it long ago? I hope you had fun!

No fun around here in Madison, WI... up to our elbows and shoulders in drifting snow. I heard we are having a record year. When the glacier reseeds from my apartment, I'll hit the book store. See if they have anything.

    Your friend,
    Beth

There is a cemetary at an epsicopal church in Hulls Cove on the north end of the Island. I didn't visit, just research for the GG hunt. That hunt turned out to be a scam. Lots of work and no prizes.

    It's not a place, it's a yearning. It's not a race, it's a journey.

I just ordered my book yesterday.
I have had ATT and SOTAD on hold for a while now.
Just waiting for the solutions on those hunts to come out.
We need some conclution to those hunts.

I am very excited about Fandango!
I just heard about it and even more interested since I am close to Maine. I live in MA and visit Maine often. We have never been to Acadia, but we have it on our list of future camping trips. Hopefully we will go there soon to find the key!

I was also thinking about the prize this morning. They say it's a secret and it worth more than the $10K cash prize. What if it worth WAY more than the cash prize? Maybe a car, a boat, a house on the island? Or is it a piece of jewelery?

    Good luck to all.
Can't wait for the book to arrive...

    ::sigh::

Well, no matter what the prize really is, at least we will have a dandy hunt. On-on!

    Default Visual and Verbal Clues

It has been said that the clues can be found by both visual and verbal. Do you think that the solution can be found by either one or the other or do we need both. For example, can we solve this using only visual clues or only using verbal clues or do we need both?

    Just a thought

For all of the treasure hunts I have seen, there are multiple clues which when taken together, give enough information to locate the item. It is never a single clue that leads to discovery.

And sometimes the item is found without all the clues being discovered.

I'd be willing to wager this one can be found with visual clues only. But at this point, your guess is as good as mine.

I got my book in about 4 days from ordering.
They sent a confirmation email before shipping.
I do live in MA so I would guess about 5 -6 business days for someone in the west coast.

Was reminiscing about the last reunion. Below are the links. Hopefully it will inspire some of you to join this years reunion.

I think there must have been about 35 people there which included Twelevers and their families. It was a great time.

This years will include a lot of fun stuff. A weekend away by yourself or with your family enjoying quality time is worth it. Also a nice break from school at just the right time.

If you are thinking of attending and need to fly I will gladly be available to pick up at the airport. Just PM me.
