I was looking at the boarder colors and frequencies on pg 5 it seems like it may use morse code? I got one side to work out nicely but no luck on the other side. The top and bottom mirror each other but the sides do not. Has anyone else tried this?

Lots in there (I wasn't able to use Morse on that, but did possibly pick up letters for "A FREE SOS", or more likely "SAFE ROSE" - compare, front cover).

    But, speaking of mirrors ......

    The left frame

    SLY CUNNING FOX

has white as part of the letters. I don't have a mirror with me, but it looks like only a few of the letters will reflect into something meaningful with a mirror along that boarder colors. For example, the "X"-white reflects into a "Y"

Aside from the "I"-white, the SLY CUNNING FOX reflects C O Y

    My observations:

    13 keys on tree

13 holes on each of the 2 black trees

and I believe the left frount leg of Fandango is what we are seeing with the paw being the darker section at Fandangos throat looks to be a begging posture or defensive posture with the tilt of the head

The first highlighted letters on left side of the first 6 pictures are SPEECH

Likewise, top, DECOY END (or, in full measure, from back OUR ODD END DECOY)

    bottom, TAKE MONEY

Also on the boarder if you use Morse you can get on the left side orange for dot and red for dash "lost tune" top and bottom alternating depending on which side "net tip a" and finally on the right side orange for - and red for dot "must gimee"

I had found these some time ago just been away for a while with life interruptions else I would have posted sooner

    related code -

This p. 5 is the opening image of the Fandango puzzle.

The right-side of the frame says, with colored letters

    FOLLOWS HIS NOSE

    spelling

    LIE

The LIE is confirmed, as Fandango is LYING at the center of the image.

    Now, rotated

    3,1,7

looks like a direct alpha-code of either C,A,G or

    CQ

which is an abbreviation for a signal sent at the beginning of a message
