Whatever I feel like I wanna do. Gosh!
Literally the KEY page. My two cents: there is all kind of stuff crammed onto this page to give us clues how to solve the other codes. The most interesting piece of this puzzle to me is the one trapezoidal green piece dead in the middle with the red cross on it. All other crosses of this nature through the rest of book are black (as points of interests). X marks the spot??

In masquerade there was a square that contained letters also. Heres a description of how that was used.(the site is--http://www.bunnyears.net/kitwilliams/masq.html)
"The letters on Sir Issac's magic square are the first initials of towns near Ampthill, and the numbers to which they correspond are their approximate distances from Ampthill in miles."
Not saying that this would be exactly the same but a similar application could be applied. For example, since the 'red AS' are together, it could stand for 'ASticou' and be 2 miles away from the 'key'.(if the 'AS' corresponded to the 4th postion number on page 40(2)-not saying it does)

Good thoughts, Sixer. Thanks for that.

Curious page.
The circle of stuff at the top of the page shows an arrow pointing to a STEM of an apple on one side and a big EYE on the other side.
STEM + 'I' = TIMES
A compass rose is contained within this circle of symbols as well as zodiac symbols and a map fragment.
I'll think some more...
