I just noticed something strange about the map on this page. Notice how the trail lines on the map all match up, even though the map is folded and wrinkled? It is as if the illustrator drew on the trail lines on top of the folded map.

rdshackleford mentioned that they believed the books on the shelf all had a reason. I have been playing around with this idea.
I have found that the letter on the spine yellow book on the left of the page anagram to "every red" which I am assuming means every red letter around the borders, that make up the words we have all found.
From there I have not found a lot without I believe pushing a bit. I had wondered if I added some of the letters from the spines together if that would come up with any more directions. As I said I do not know if this is just pushing for something.
NTAIN & CROSS from the navy book on right side can be anagramed "not cars in"
Has any one came up with anything for the ISBN number on the spine of the orange book? It is not a true ISBN because it should represent 10 numbers or the new system of 13. There is only 9 digits for this one.

I like that, or maybe Harley Quinn = HQ = Park Headquarters? That seems to be roughly where Fandango is at that point in the story. Are there pictures of the inside of the building,
or is there a park bookstore?

I'm not sure how you get EVERY RED out of that. I see:

    (L)VED
    TERY

You can get EVERY out of that, but that leaves DT(L), not RED.

The carriage roads in the park do not allow access for cars.

I have been reading some history of the island. Cars were originally banned from the island. They were finally allowed in and there was resistance to building more auto roads as well as the carriage roads.

The park loop road is also a nice way to view alot of the east side of the island. It's a two lane, one way road. Very scenic.

    Default correcting space history

1957 is the year that a satellite was first put into orbit by the Soviet Union. It was called Sputnik. Gagarin orbited in 1961, a few months before Alan Shepard did his sub-orbital flight.

And Cadillac Mountain was not always named after a car.

Harley Quinn is a villainess in batman... Maybe it is a clue that Harley Quinn in FANDANGO can not be trusted. Remember Fandango said, "I should risk the bird." A fox usually has pretty good instincts.

Some information: Patricia Wentworth wrote Down Under in 1937. It is considered a rare edition. Can be bought on Amazon from $140-$442. Published by JB Lippincott Co, and has 304 pages. ASIN is B0006ANQZA. Ms. Wentworth's real name was Dora Amy Elles (1878-1961).

Penquin Group Publishers ISBN for "In the Lake of the Woods" is 0140250948 for their paperpack editions. I have found them published in 1994, 1995 & 2003. Hard backs have other numbers, as well as other publishers....so there are many ISBN listed for this book.
