# Thread: Page 40 - And pie

1. And Pie, Tea for Two

The p. 40 4 x 4 grid features the numbers

16, 8 in the two upper left corner boxes

This is a simple substitution cipher for PI.

More like a P.H., or HP.

3. HA! That was tricky.

A feast of words means word stew, so this may be related:

River Cottage clam stew on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

“clams” means “dollars / booty”, so could be a hint that the treasure is in sight.

Additionally, the last letters of each word give RE: MW, and the MW are highlighted in the frame letters.

5. Painful! Fandango seems to be going all over the place. But, it seems there may be a method to his madness.

There have been quite a few nice finds posted within this forum - there are many more in the puzzle.

Not known how many of them are actually needed, how many are supplemental, or what level the puzzle is, until it is done.

6. clock is not right their are only 3 hash marks between hr number locations need 4 hash marks to be accurate however it is accurate for a compass bearing
