Default So who's going out to the island soon?

Have yet to go, but am saving my pennies. People say it is beautiful.

    (Sigh...)
Where’s my pencil? No! The one with the eraser ...

It is beautiful. I'll be going soon to hike, but will have to put some more time into Fandango if I'm going to do any treasure hunting. I've already explored all the places I've come up with so far.

It's pretty nice up there. I grew up around Lake George, NY, and it kind of reminds me of that, but with way more lobster

I stayed in Bar harbor the week of the 4th of July, but I will be going back in October to do some hiking and climb the Precipice Trail.the birds were nested and it was closed when I was there.I didn't do any treasure hunting because I have no clue where its at, I have a general idea of the area, but your kidding yourself if you think your going on that island and finding it without knowing for sure you solved Fandango.BNUT where around Lake George? From North creek here!!

Excited to hear how your October visit goes, even if you don't look for the treasure. Such a magical place regardless of any X marks the spots

I'm from CT but my parents own a place on a lake around Warrensburg/Bolton Landing, and I spent every weekend of my life growing up there, and three weeks in the summer every year, so maybe I'm not a native, but I've spent a lot of my life there, I know exactly where North Creek is, out by Gore Mtn, we used to ski all the time there.

I still live here too! I look at the Fandango posts and have some info that I've never shared but I still don't have a clue where this treasure is. I'm the one that spoke to Pel several years ago and he told me about it may be harder to find in the snow or if in wheelchair. I had asked him if the treasure could be found year round? And I also asked if it was out in the water on a bell buoy or something like that? So That's where that snow & wheelchair statement came from. The reason I had called him was I was requesting he be part of Bar Harbor Legacy of the Arts and display the paintings from Fandango. At the time he could not commit for our event. I too would be happy to meet up with folks if they came here to look for the key. I know the island pretty good.
