    Default Reflections: Working with Images

The images contain much information individually. They also give hints and information, to be used with other images.
    .
Pages 19 and 23 will be used as an example.
    .
As previously discussed, p. 19 has much information, including lat / long coordinates. It also ties to other pages like p. 40 (“AF-EAST OF WORDS”).
    .
A fun an useful reference, is given with red-blue anagram “REFLECTIONS” and the phrases
    .
    AN EYE REFLECTS
    COUNT TO THREE
    .
We already understand that “TO THREE” is also taken as 23 for several reasons, one being that it is a coordinate ( as is the RV plate 62-18 = 44). It also relates to p. 23.
    .
    NOW SMILE
    .
Moving to p. 23, the lobsterman’s shirt closely resembles “I’D RATHER BE SMILING” (look at the cut “A” and “N” carefully. Also the L/D, which are of the HELD on p. 19).
There are additional hints toward using the reflection on p. 23, such as the boat letters reflected on the water, and the trap reflected on the oar.
    .
The lobsterman is not constructed correctly, per se (the torso, hat, face, etc.), but by using reflection, he can be made to smile. There is much more to it; have fun.
    .
By the way, if anyone knows of free software that can reflect parts of images on themselves, please post. I’m using a mirror for now. ( I don’t want to pay for Photoshop ).

    Hi cw,

Thanks for the links. I am going to keep them for future use, because they are good general editing. (btw, if you are ever trying to clear up blurry images, SMART DEBLUR is a good free tool).

The overlay approach can be used, but is a little difficult to pick up details of the desired sections because the mirror image of the section that would be hidden by the mirror is still visible. I can paste an image into something like Powerpoint, copy and crop it and then flip the desired section of the image, and place side by side with the original - it's just laborious.

astree - Powerpoint has a picture format tool that allows you to "reflect" a picture in any direction you want.

Thanks. That's how I am making a record for the images I want to keep (crop, copy, reflect, and then place the two images side-by-side).

The problem is that it's takes a while to look at a lot of images that way. Cropping has to be exact for the level of detail I'm looking for. Having a true mirroring tool (e.g., Photoshop, but it costs too much) lets you look at a lot of variations quickly.

By the way, I had mentioned on the p. 11 thread recently, that quite a few methods of hiding information are shown on p. 11.

One deals with reflections. The EYE KEY is shown as the breakdown of the 6 letters by the dashes below, separated by the "+"

    E + YEKEY

where YEKEY is the relfective (symmetrical) part.

Speaking of PART, and returning to p. 23, the reflection of TRAP on the oar.

I'm sorry, maybe it's just me. Enlighten me. I really have no idea what you're talking about most of the time. To wit:

Moving to p. 23, the lobsterman’s shirt closely resembles “I’D RATHER BE SMILING” (look at the cut “A” and “N” carefully. Also the L/D, which are of the HELD on p. 19).
There are additional hints toward using the reflection on p. 23, such as the boat letters reflected on the water, and the trap reflected on the oar.
    .
The lobsterman is not constructed correctly, per se (the torso, hat, face, etc.), but by using reflection, he can be made to smile.

We already understand that “TO THREE” is also taken as 23 for several reasons, one being that it is a coordinate ( as is the RV plate 62-18 = 44). It also relates to p. 23.

I have NO idea what you're talking about. Am I dense? Is it just me? I feel like a crazy person here
