Are those four signs the only ones?

Yeah, I found out about the hotel after. I didn't really have big hopes for that. Still not sure if it's an 8 or not.

The hotel with the Infinity Pool was just built back in 2010 and opened in 2011.[/QUOTE]

This has been an issue for me for many of my ideas. What was there in 2007, and how has it changed since then? I had one idea that involved one of the ruins, thinking the key might be in a crack between stones. Then I came on a photo of these ruins taken in 2007, and the cracks back then were full of mortar, which had disintegrated over the years. The cracks I could see now weren't there in 2007!

It's a question everybody has. Where can you hide something that's not buried that will not be: washed away, covered over, disturbed by accident, disturbed by people doing normal maintenance, etc. for a long period of years?
Where can this thing sit and not be found for a decade or more, on the ground, I guess? and we assume it hasn't been found because we have no idea it hasn't been..?

I'd have to say that it is hidden in the woods, not on any path, maybe in a hollow log or under a rock.

bnut - the rocks on the cover of Fandango sure do look like the rock on the Shore Path sign you posted.

    Hm.

Again, not sure if this was posted but we went to the shore path sign noted earlier and all the signs are new. they've been working on the path for a while now and in august we walked to the sign- it was not the same sign posted earlier. Newer sign replaced the old so, can't have anything to sight or connect in that regard. I took pics and will load them if I can later.

Yes, I noticed the same thing on my visits to MDI this summer. A lot of construction and renovations, new signs, relocated trails...I think if there is still a chance the key is out there, it will have to be in a secure place, or at least one that had/ has very little chance of being altered. Even stone walls have been worked on. I would think the Stockwells would post something on the Fandango website if the location of the key had been altered enough to make finding it impossible.

I was surprised by how much things had changed along the Shore Path, and other places, between May/June 2016 and September/October 2017.

Im glad to see people still responding here. I relooked at my puzzle last night and wondered if maybe we could work together on something.

I figured out the missing numbers to the 2 number grids on pages 17 and 40 using clues in the book. Directly there are clues that give you the precise answers to the two grids. and I know more clues can be unlocked using the same method I did because there were 4 paths to getting answers. I have used two (to get the numbers grid answers) but get confused on the other two but I KNOW there are answers using the same technique. I have wondered if one of the paths gives the answer to the letter grid on page 11. I haven't figured that one out yet but the path leads there I believe.

My question is has anyone else anywhere solved *definitively* the number grids USING the clues in the book? Has that been discovered/posted anywhere?

There has never been any indication that they are checking the locations or responding in any way to queries as to whether the key is still there, unfortunately. Unless they do that, I think I'm done. It's been too long. No way of knowing whether the key or markers or whatever is still there after all this time without any confirmation.
