Is it important to know that fireflies are also called
'lightning bugs' (related to 'glow worms'), and are really beetles?

I don't know. Just thought I'd throw that out there.![]()

Maybe this is why Beetle is mentioned twice on page 98....Originally Posted by Hunting4Treasure

Absolute genius for noticing that
thank you
there are only eleven bugs, with beetle repeated twice!
And it mentions firefly, so it can't be that he was mentioning firefly by saying beetle!
He says: "...another ladybug.....flew a firefly and a beetle, carrying a caterpillar, a bee, carrying a snail...followed by a dragonfly with a spider on her back, a beetle, and finally a grasshopper riding on a glittering hummingbird."
Note the 11 animals (bolded) and the extra beetle(yellowed). Where, and what are the last two? Ant, and Butterfly! Why are they missing? Why are there two beetles?!
Or am I just paranoid...
*Of course*
I can see ant, because he can't fly, but butterfly sure can, and why couldn't he carry ant? besides, the workload is unevely distributed here; usually butterfly can hold a couple of land-bound critters.

Update for newbies:
We now *know* that the 2nd Beetle was a typo, and should be eliminated *completely*, with *nothing* meant to replace it!
Now, where *is* that Ant and Butterfly?!?![]()
