If you have the 1-5 Key then all you have to do is apply it to the code on that page.
Just apply the key to the acorns to get your coordinates.

If someone has the code then they already have the 1-5 sequence, so what are you asking for?Originally Posted by otacon
Has it been found? We have been working on this one for a while and keep coming up with gibberish. We arbitrarily labeled the acorns:
1=tiny acorn
2=medium plain acorn
3=medium with white mark
4=medium with dark mark
5=large acorn
We have rearranged the numbers into 65 combinations so far to no avail....
It will make us feel better if it is in OK because we can't really get there...
Good luck everyone- remember to be good sports!

How are you dealing with the doubles?
Have you tried ordering them in the forum of the Firefly?

Medium

I'm still looking at these and there is a slight but definate differences in size.
I have looked at that, but it didn't sit quite right with me, that certain shapes were tied down to specific sizes. For instance, the white/dark lines are all the same size.
anyone feel they are there just to distinguish between the medium and large acorn sizes? in that case the 'trait' classifications (left_light, right_light, plain, dark, pair) fall as a potential code and sizes prevail.
However, then it would be a typo (?) that there is one acorn with a light mark on the right, whereas all others have the mark on the left. Also, he didnt need any special size code on the thistle puzzle, and some of those were pretty close in size.
We are dealing with the doubles as separate acorns right now. So there are 24 total, making 12 letters. We were going in order starting from the "E" but with other solutions, now we are looking at it as a possible anagram? I'm trying to pick the solutions with the most vowels.

since the ATT web site doesn't show the Firefly as missing, I am assuming it is still there!

I wrote a computer program that will take any sequence and re-number it every possible way. There are 120 combinations...
In addition, it can ceaser shift, mirror, and/or relayout the 5x5 to anything desired.
I have tried them all with the acorns and find nothing.
