    Impressive.

I have a friend who helped me with this so that all 120 permutations are spit out, but not all that other stuff. It'd be a lot to sift through. It also does row-column or column-row. I have another excel file that I got from someone on here that does the caesar shift, but I don't use it as much.
Over 1,000 miles travelled in search of 1 token.

Tokens found: zero. (no, I don't expect I'll have to edit this)

    Currently working on: Firefly, beetle.

I just got the book Friday. Been meaning to get it for a while... better late than never.

I logged in just in time to see this weeks fury and have been digging in hard to catch up. Wish I had stopped to think of Excel, probably a simpler solution for the 5x5's and crypto's.

In any case, I'm here... It's great to see a few ideas work out !

You might consider using the directions of the acorns minus east and west. Use only the diagonals and the one pointing up at you as the blank. For the doubles, simply ignore the east or west acorn.

    Default meeting the firefly guy

Our Berkeley paper did an interview with the guy who found the firefly. I got to meet him. He seems uber smart. I went out and bought the book. Now I'm depressed. It is sort of yet another thing to get excited about and then realize is an impossible silliness.

This is posted on the ATT site:

    UPCOMING MEDIA

Inside Edition: Will feature Michael Stadther in his CT office and firefly finder Jason Davis on the Berkeley campus and retracing his steps in the Oklahoma park. Expected air date: week of August 15th

Should be interesting to see how he found the token!
