Default 'The Golden Apple Tale' Pictures

We know at least two of the pictures contain clues. Here are some thoughts:

    p. 5. The verse makes reference to the sun rising, and the picture contains a prominent tree. The direction of the shadow, however, is problematic in light of the p. 28 picture.

    p. 6. The verse directs the reader to look at the hands of the clock on the wall. There is a U.S. road atlas on the coffee table.

pp. 16-17. The map contains CASSIOPEIA. Why? What is so important about Cassiopeia that the author felt compelled to make two independent clues lead to her name?

    p. 19. The lantern is the same one used in the p. 23 picture.

    p. 27. Walrus House Saloon? What kind of name is that??

    p. 28. Again, Cassiopeia is visible and is hinted at in the verse.

One of the words you can make from 'Walrus House Saloon' is 'lush', kind of appropiate for a bar. Whether that was intentional or not, I don't know.

One thing I noticed on pg. 6. The atlas is wrong. The binding should be on the other side of the book, or the text should be upside down. The way it appears, the words "Road Atlas of the United States" are on the back cover.

    Significant? Who knows?
