    Default What is this?

    Hello all,

I'm new to the forum. Has anyone noticed this image on page 19 near the standing man's foot? It looks a bit like a Roman soldier...anyone have any other ideas?

Does anyone know what the man is holding in his right hand?

    Hello,

Welcome to the forum. I believe the image is a crudely drawn chicken. The standing man is holding a jug, similar to the one at his brothers feet.

    Good Luck-

I took that to be a baseball cap in his hand.

Definitely a baseball cap. Not sure what is at his feet, but doesn't look important. Look on the next page at the broken down farm. is that writing on the path just in front of the barn. i can make out a "CNL"

I agree it could be a baseball cap, since he does not have one on his head. It still looks like a rooster chicken to me at his feet. It might say CNL or even CNIL on page 20.

Wow, nice call on the baseball cap. That thing was really bugging me. Ok, here's another one to chew on. Take a closeup look at the 'o' in 'for'.

The circle with a dot in the center, could be a a symbol for a lot of things. The sun, gold, the eye of God, determined position (navigation), end of trail, gone home (Scouting), and others. Here is the complete wikipedea list. Circled dot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Default circumpunct

Right. Sorry, I should have written that myself. It looks deliberate, at any rate. But is just a little 'golden apple' joke by the author or is there more meaning behind it?
