    * shakes holli's hand

Thats a bummer that they scammed all of us, after finding the coin.
Well I must admit though that the puzzles were kind of fun, but I cant figure any of these things out. I always need the question before I can figure out the answer, It's tough trying to find out the question when you dont even know if you have the answer. Trying to seem deep here. lol

    Default My .02

Okay, well I might as well put my solution out there and hopefully someone will go searching and tell me if I was right.

panthera onca - the word 'an' was written funny, so that led me to the first 'an' in panthera, the a is -1 and the second 'a' and 'n' in onca, the a is +2, so if you shift panthera onca -1+2-1+2, etc. you get 'nbluffpb moab'. From that I surmised the coin was on the North Bluff, Park Boundry in Moab. Arches National Park is the only national park North of moab.

The North Bluff, led me to Tower Arch which is actually on the north end of the park right on the park boundary.

On the glyphs, I ended up with seven letters which anagrammed to 'Pagodas", now that points to Utah to me because of the morman temples, and pagodas also means temple. But if you rearrange the letters you also get "Soda Gap" and if you take the meaning of the words 'soda' and 'gap' you can also come up with Salt Valley, which are synonyms for the two words. Salt Valley also runs right through were Tower Arch is.

The "Whom Tolls", Tower Arch used to be called Minaret Bridge, and there is an inscription written into the face of Tower Arch that says something like "H.S. Bell" and something else.

Okay, so the last part, the face...if you look at it, it is not actually an Olmec face, it is a "rock face", looks more latin to me so I took the literal meaning of the "rock face" and with the inscription and everything else, this is where I thought it would be.

I spent a lot of time on this and who knows if I am right. There have been many theories posted on here and no sign of the coin yet, if it is even still there.

I have tons of notes on this, if anyone would like more info, email me I am happy to share.

On a side note, I emailed the info@scrollquest.com two days ago asking if they were still honoring the puzzle cards and I got an email right back saying "yes!!" we are still honoring those. So I emailed back and said, hey what about my Ambrose Compendium I paid for and never got.....and guess what......I never got a reply!!!

I went and got my notes, so I wanted to elaborate a bit more on some of the things I said above.

I realized I was a bit vague on the the letters I obtained from the glyphs so I wanted to elaborate a bit on that:

If you look at the praying figures and count the "dots" coming out of their headdresses, just on the ones that had unique things in the middle and only the dots that were complete dots and not partial dots, you would get the following pairs of numbers: (2,2) (2,2) (2,6) (3,3) (5,6) (6,5) (5,9). Now take the unique numbers, 2/3/5/6/9 and make a 5x5 putting I/J together, and intersect the numbers to the correct cell in the 5x5 you would get the letters: AADGOSP....or PAGODAS.....or SODA GAP

I read alot on how the Olmec's would make their numbers and only complete dots represent the number, if the symbol was incomplete, it was something else. I did not "manufacture" these letters, I did the numbers and came up with the letters and was very surprised that it worked so easily.

Now, how I even decided to work with the glyphs....what I got out of the red scrolly letters were..and these were sort of a stretch, but it lead me to the the glyph solve (or my solve anyway) GIVE EACH GLYPH A CHOP, which to me meant you had to break them up and work with just a part of each glyph.

West First Marker--on the main road through Arches National Park and to Tower Arch, you take the road west and turn at the first marker to get to Tower Arch.

    http://climb-utah.com/Moab/tower.htm

Here is a website where I found a lot of information on Tower Arch as well as pictures of it. This is also where they list the inscription into the "face" of the rock "Minaret Bridge, H.S. Bell 1927", that could be the reference to "Whom Tolls" as it says Bell.
