While all of this is *very* interesting and you guys are doing great brainstorming...

MS said that we don't need any special tools. But then again, if there are ciphers, one needs what some people would consider 'special tools' to solve them, too...

I believe I've made a similar point, and possibily this thread should be moved to a "chat" forum....

I figured that all this info probably wouldn't be used, but it's nice to teach others... heh

I work with a darkroom at work - red "safe lights".
Tried looking at each page under the red light and didn't see anything that would be a clue, but some pages did look very different. Maybe we could try different colored filters - a cheap way would be that green/blue/yellow/red plastic wrap for samdwiches. If anyone haas some at home - let me know if it works

I happened to have colored cd cases, and tried those. Didn't help or show anything much.

Innovative! Why didn't I think of that

    Which colors did you use?

These may not have been *true* colors, but I used:

    red
    blue
    yellow
    green
    orange

(Staples had a sale a loooong time ago!!! )

    Default weird experiments

The weirdest thing I've done with my book so far is I bought a box of Fruit by the foot, cause it came with a free pair of 3d glasses. I also bought a box of honey nut cheerios cause it had a transparent blue or red piece in it to look at puzzles on the back of the box. Anyway, I wasted my money.

Ring a bell? Aviator glasses are polarised....

this is a great idea! i wondered myself many times why the dragonfly is wearing glasses! many he's saying "this is how i should be looked at!".

wow, i'm going to try this!
if it's not fun, what's the point?

Greydust, pf008 (above) said he did...and 'wasted' his money.

    And your experience was...>>>??
