1. ## K3 is different

Now before I just post the K3 solution, I thought I would post this simple puzzle. Kryptos fans already know, and it is easy enough to look up. But it you don't know already, this could be a fun little brain teaser for you. First, here is the K3 ciphertext:

Code:
```ENDYAHROHNLSRHEOCPTEOIBIDYSHNAIA
CHTNREYULDSLLSLLNOHSNOSMRWXMNE
TPRNGATIHNRARPESLNNELEBLPIIACAE
WMTWNDITEENRAHCTENEUDRETNHAEOE
TFOLSEDTIWENHAEIOYTEYQHEENCTAYCR
EIFTBRSPAMHHEWENATAMATEGYEERLB
TEEFOASFIOTUETUAEOTOARMAEERTNRTI
BSEDDNIAAHTTMSTEWPIEROAGRIEWFEB
AECTDDHILCEIHSITEGOEAOSDDRYDLORIT
RKLMLEHAGTDHARDPNEOHMGFMFEUHE
ECDMRIPFEIMEHNLSSTTRTVDOHW```
Here is the puzzle. What is the interesting feature of this block of ciphertext? You should be able to figure this out by just staring at it for a while. No need for deep analysis. The answer tells you something about how to go about solving it.
2. Is it the quantity of double letters?
(just a cursory glance)
3. Nope. Glance a little harder. You will get there.
The decrypt is really really cool, by the way. If you don't alread know it, don't just google the answer. It is much more fun to play along.
4. It looks like letters to me, or possibly a double helix. If I had to guess, the letters would be ISS.
5. Perhaps I am being misleading. Stop staring. It is not a picture or an image or anything. Just tell me what is peculiar about K3 when compared to K2. What is different about the letters involved?
-Rusty
6. K2 has question marks; K3 does not.
7. well, there are significantly more vowels in K3 than K2
8. The question mark between K3 and K4 is in dispute. Some say it is part of K3, and some say it is part of K4.
Yes, there are more vowels in K3. Warmer, warmer... Red hot now! Keep going!
