It also represents what was discussed in the other thread.

Something I don't recall anyone mentioning yet. On the parchment, above the compass and ruler ther a a couple lines that are not part of the regular masonic logo.

I've tried using them as lines for folding the page, but haven't come up with anything. Any ideas on the signifigance of those additional lines?

Also..a very long shot in the dark...has anyone with an original parchment tried looking at it under black light or heating the page to see if anything additional appears? Those kind of methods are very unlikely in this case, but a thought that came to mind..

I am thinking about buying this book because it sounds like a lot of fun. But does this parchment thing come with or do you have to look all over to find clues for this thing??

i had a Eureka. on the parchment if you folt it the opposite of the way that shows the pig-pen, it is not a magnifying glass but it is a key. the cicle with the batman is the handle and the Shuburogh hall is the key head. Also in regards to "as above, so below" the pyramids on the top in either corner correspond to the mason tools. they are reflected horizontaly. Those lines that were asked about are the extentions of the pyramids face.
that may be what is reffered to as the uneven divide of their number. If you horizontally divide through the peak the pyramid is not symmetric]
i like that reverse fold ,
explains why the hall image has been so mangled.
it does look like a key, but not sure what to do with it.

Well Done Blizza that Key is a great find!

Someone (not sure who sorry !) did mention that the continuation of the lines if you folded it that way was indicating something in an earlier post. I don't think it went to that next level though.

The question now is what to do with it ?????

Omg, I am so far behind. I haven't touched the maranatha for months until today. Thanks for the scans. *races off to catch up*

Question:

The second scan that shows the pigpen cipher. Are those natural folds? I'm trying to find out if the separation of edges is natural...the one that creates the "peeking" section

Van -

I don't know if you got an answer to your question. If you are referring to the June 21 2006 scan post, yes, the folds are "natural" - that is the way the Parchment comes.

Are you trying to look at the peek-through, or other more visible items? It is not clear if a peek-through would require too much precision to offer any clues, but I continue to be surprised. Several letters are revealed vertically on the "Charity" section peek - TES (the same letters that are capped in "The Egyptian Staff").

Hope this helps,
astree
