The three animals getting into the "ark" near the bottom right of illustration on page 2: cow, dog, donkey... right?
Bovine, Canine, Equine
??? Any other thoughts on this ???
Actually, I can't tell if it's a dog or a bear or ... a wombat?![]()
This will be the thread for discussions about Page 2 of Menagerie.
Whatever I feel like I wanna do. Gosh!

... also, could the ark mean "arc" as in part of a circle or a half-circle? Maybe, put those animals [by name or species?] into an arc or a circle??? Perhaps it's some kind of key?
(Beetleboy's comments about page 1 and all the circle/half-circle things there got me thinking...)
Is anyone else out there looking at page 2 yet? I just love this page for some reason!
Three 'nines?
(File it away...)
Border around Pic2. The Red letters spell: FOOL
There are notched letters around the border which, when anagrammed spell: WISDOM
One of the Red O's is in the shape of an Owl. If we replace one of the O's in FOOL with the letters OWL and anagram, we come up with the word FOLLOW.

The crow speaks in Cockney. Cheap in cockney means to barter or trade. Cheap came from the word cheping, which is why there are so many towns and villages around England with the pre-fix Chipping, as these were the market towns or villages for their region. There is a Chipping Norton on highway A44, Chipping Campden. There is a region called Chipping Brenton, I believe. I found this information at the below website.

Interesting line of thought. Also in your article, it says that cockney was originally applied to a small or misshapen egg...and there are small eggs in the nest in Pic3.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me posting the little things I find interesting. They may be red herrings or not, but I hope it let's us think outside of the box and as I'm no good with the ciphers, I like to do research. On page 2, I noticed the the clock hand pointing to the 10 was pointing to the mountain in the picture with the jewel at the base of the mountain. With all the religious overatures on that page, I decided to google Mount Zion Britain. Here are some interesting excerts from the following website. You can read the entire site and links if you wish. Like I said, it may mean nothing. Please don't flame me, I just posted about the cockney's this morning.
Schiehallion - Mount Zion in the far north
these autonomous groups of hermit brothers correspond to what we know of the original structure of the Celtic Church….these Coli Dei [Culdees] had a role to play on the Celtic side analogous to the role attributed on the eastern side….to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre, the spiritual descendants of the Essenes.

A link from this site lead to this.
Notably, in an Irish version of the gospel of St. Matthew, the phrase “there came wise men from the east” is rendered “the Druids came from the east.” In like manner, in the Old Testament, Exodus vii. II, the “magicians of Egypt” are made “Druids of Egypt.”[7] ........

This and other mountains in the region have been associated with pagan worship to goddesses such as Diana. Anyway, just another thing to think about.

Hi. I'm new to this, and I noticed something, but have no idea where to go with it. Behind the telephone in a paper that has the tic-tac-toe board' followed by 35334, and a drawing of an owl. In pic 3, we again see the board filled with numbers. I converted the "DW" to 423 then down to 9. I added the rows from top to bottom, again taking them down to single digit numbers, and came up with 334. Adding from left to right turned up a 658, which gave me the 5 but not the other 3. So, I added the number diagonally, and came up with 3 and 5, which gives us the 35334. Any ideas on what to do with it now?
