Or maybe I should map it so that the K4 ? maps to the 18th of June and the KCAR would map to Sept. 20-23rd. I'm not sure which direction I should be working...that's the problem with a line, gotta work in either direction while testing ideas.

Interesting. June 18th corresponds to the letter L based on my application of the same calendar arrangement which set Nov. 26th to the Q of IQLUSION. Could this have something to do with the extra L in the middle of the Tableau?

    HOLY HATHOR BATMAN!!!!!!

This post is amazing, and I'm embarrassed to say that I'm just reading it now for the first time. This how we're going to do it, but we have to change the numbers and reorder the rows. I'm thinking the purpose of the calendar is to create a very special grid. Once we've figured out the years, then we see where certain holidays fall, and I'm guessing they'll be a difference in the observed holidays between those years.

    IGOR!!!

    Prepare the lab.

Hey, thanks. It's entirely an idea, nothing for certain. I'm unclear on where we're required to situation the K4 string on the calendar and whether they KRYPTOS-keyed alphabet is the right way to go. It could require a OTP composed of a block of ciphertext from the K1-K3 portion of the sculpture, thus preserving the idea that you don't actually need to solve K1-K3 to solve K4.

What I find most thrilling is my idea establishes the usage of each present date as a reference to a past and future date. It's very "Scroogy".

I think I discovered why JS forgot to put the S in the 365th position of K2. It's difficult to explain. I believe it was an honest mistake, which reveals that he was up to something which required him to remove or insert those X's and maybe the ?'s too. He left us a clue in either case.

When I mapped K2 to the calendar I get a nice 1:1 when I remove those extras. That presents a solid OTP reference. The only anomaly left to consider is the R which becomes the U of 'undergrUund'. I then mapped the ? of K4 to that position and proceeded to scribe the O at the adacent dates following and preceding. I continued with the B, 2 days after and before, and the K 3 days after/before, etc. When I was finished, I had a nice arrangement of 3-letter combos of CT. Dunno what to do with it. Im at the extent of my cryptographic skills.

Been thinkin off and on all day and I see the OTP prospects best. 97-letter pairs from K2, centered on what I call 9/22, supply us with a nice batch of masking material. I'm guessing adding or substracting in modulo 26 is the most efficient way to pad K4. Once thats done I want to do Quag 3. Maybe that opens the door for using HYDRA or CINQUEFOIL as a keyword.
