    Default The Beale Treasure

If the Beale Cryptograms are real, somewhere six feet under the ground in Virginia is over $30 million in gold stored in iron pots

I have looked, I can't find anything that says that it was proof-positive that it was found. Just most likely scenario w/some evidence to support the claim. I also found some websites that say that the first and last beale papers maybe a hoax based on analysis. Some even speculated that it was written by the poet Edgar Allen Poe, as a means to communicate beyond the grave, when it is finally solved. Happy hunting!

    Default My dad

My father was a fan of this hunt, he went into the blue ridge mountains many times, and on his final trip he found a huge boulder with a V carved into it, he went home thinking of what "V" could mean he read through the stories/papers and articles and noticed that the treasure was under a marker stone, he realized that the V was just the top of the X he rushed back to the mountains and when he arrived whatever was under that stone was dug up by a bulldozer, he was never sure in that was the treasure, but later a man codenamed Mr. Green claimed he found the treasure, my dad wrote a letter to Mr. Green and he never replied. True Story.

    Fox-
I believe him by the simple fact
that he didn't try TOO HARD and post
a photo of the V rock.
    Maybe this real life experience
gave him the idea for the fake one.
He was simply trying to have everyone else
stop looking at a known burial site until
he had time to go thee and scout the area himself.
It was a method to facilitate scheduling and use the
power of the internet for what is was intedned -
    spreader of mis-information (thanks Al!)
If only it had been around in his Dad's hunting
days, he would have dug up the Beale treasure.

Most of the treasure is in the looking. Finding only concludes it.
