    Claims

These are just a few of the many hundreds of unsuccessful claims that have been made since Quest was first published in September 1992. You can see the wide variety of answers that questors have arrived at! Sorry there's not time or space to list them all, but I hope you'll find these interesting

The real answer was THE CAIRN AT BEN MORE, ISLAND OF MULL...... that is an anagram of the first letters of all the page answers, and the groups of letters correspond to the cut marks around a stone each side of the bottom of the last page..... 3,5,2,3,4,6,2,4. Additionally there was a clue in the bell that was included in the cover, title page, and the final page.... this was 'Big Ben' at Westminster. 'Ben' is a mountain in gaelic, and to continue the connection further 'big mountain' is simply 'Ben More'. The clue was always there for those of you who could see!

Actually the answer needed to be more precise than a lot of those, as you can see when someone submitted simply 'Ben More, Mull' as an answer long ago...... and then never pursuing their idea to its logical conclusion

Almost 2 ft, I know, not unheard of back north but here in ABQ, yup. Weathermen are now telling us to expect another storm passing thru the next 2 days. I LOVE IT
