3. ZOMG!!

The knot pic could mean:

Knots - like - stoppers, bends and hitches.

or

Knots - like - 1 international knot = 1 nautical mile per hour = 1.852 kilometre per hour exactly!

4. lol, as a matter of fact, yes, I can do knots.

another thought, knotted line is also a way of measuring depth

5. so are we gonna have to know the equivelent of a fathom in all six languages?

6. actually you can get some interesting coordinates using the meter equilivent of a fathom from different cultures. hmmmmmmmmm........

you may be on to something sluggy!!!!

7. I gotta run out the door - this took way too long. Finally loaded fast and a stinker of a puzzle!!!

8. Arrrgh! Me maties, there be a wee error in that previous post. One of me "By the Mark 1" was off by a line; tis corrected here.

9. Thank you sluggy!

Just got home - and was going to go thru my weird catscratch chart to show how I got the answer this morning.

Did the bmx - biker boys outing today. I was in the car most of the day.

You should see my scratch work. I got so confused at first so I simplified my life and drew a rope with 9 knots. Then followed that screaming guys instructions. Think I may hear him in my sleep tonight!

And did the snoopy dance today. One of the biker boys told me how to get a screen shot without that opening date and time veil overlaid.
(shhhhhhhush! I can hear some of ye laughing at me!!!)
