## Has anyone checked out that Codebox ad?

I just clicked on the ad. Does anyone know what that is about? Website isn't awesome, but seems like a cool idea. Has anyone tried it?

2. Looks like someone trying to sell cheap entertainment for a high profit margin. But, you have to be the judge of how much you want for your \$20.

For me, the privilege of solving a cipher/code and being rewarded with points of unspecified value to use toward the purchase of unspecified merchandise isn't worth the price. Better to donate that cash to Tweleve, IMHO.

## Very Cool Idea!

Looks like a cool idea- I bought one of those cryptex replicas after the Davinci Code movie. Everyone in my family loved solving the codes. I bet this will be a hot item.

I bought one last week after clicking the ad. It turned out to be way better that expected. Cryptex/Codebox was cool. The code was fun to solve. I am waiting for my free keychain to come in the mail. If you have solved one, can anyone tell me what the bead that was inside means?

5. It sounds like the bead was your prize.....Seriously, what do you win after solving the cryptex?

## Codebox explained

Thanks everyone for posting on this thread. I am the owner of Codebox. I just wanted to give a brief overview of Codebox and give some answers and explanations to some of the questions that might be out there.

I am excited about this product as I think it is a fun game. The real quest is in solving the codes. See if you are smart enough to solve it in one clue. The ranking points and prizes are just added bonuses. The ranking points system is a mathematical formula that takes into consideration the level of difficulty and the number of clues that it takes you to solve the code. The free gear that you get for solving the Codebox is your choice. We have keychains, water bottles which come free with your first solve. You can solve more Codeboxes and claim T-shirts, and hats. Or you can choose to take a discount on the next Codebox that you buy.

The beads are for the real gamers, clue solvers, and treasure seekers. They make up another side puzzle. The first one to solve the beads will receive \$500 US dollars in the form of a gift card. Second place gets \$250. See our FAQ for more details. Try one and see if you can solve it. Please feel free to ask questions or let me know if I can help in anyway. Thanks again for checking it out!
